Angela has dedicated over 25 years of her life to public education as an elementary school teacher with experience in grades 2-7, most recently fourth grade in Myrtle Beach, SC. Her first collection of two short stories is Angela's first published children's book. This collection contains a fiction story, “After all, Everyone Needs a Friend” and a non-fiction story, “Cloey the Chicken Clucks About Clouds." Having a dream to write children's books, Angela took a stab at it over 20 years ago. She hand-wrote two children's stories, but thinking they were not good enough to be published, she packed them away. The unpublished books sat in a storage unit for years until recently when she found them in a box at the bottom of a stack of other boxes. Deciding to try and get her books for kiddos published, she submitted the manuscripts and ....success! Her dream to write for and inspire children had come true! 

Angela has authored three other children's books: "Dash the Dragon Takes Flight" and "Wyatt Wanabe Wants to Be a Pirate", and “Wyatt Wanabe Wants to be an Astronaut”.which is the fbeginninh in a series of stories that inspire perseverance, patience, and belief in one's self. 

Angela is a single mother of two grown boys and a loving Puppy, who never leaves her side.  Angela is also an avid reader as well as a history buff who travels around the country to various battlefields and historical sites. Angela loves tennis, golf, kickboxing, jogging, and gardening. 

She credits her friends and colleagues and their belief in her abilities as her inspiration to begin this journey. Connecting with children has always been at the center of Angela's life so moving on to this next chapter of authoring children's books is a natural transition.You can sign up to get updates about her writing here.
